A late twenty-something (how did that happen???) social worker living in Michigan, lovingly called the Mitten, less lovingly when there are snowbanks taller than the car. Anne is a student in the Master of Social Work program at Michigan State University, and is a runner and triathlete, cat-lover, and French speaker, married to another runner/cyclist. Anne’s days are generally a blur of trying to wake up early to run, working with volunteers and refugee minors around the state, going to class, and trying to remember when papers are due. Recovery time is spent on the couch with a variety of cats, reading a good book or watching random French movies on Netflix. Anne’s future goals include a social work career in an international or health field setting, improving athletic performances, and becoming a certified running coach.
